Louise Cattrell main

Concepts

The natural landscape is the source of my work. How that is revealed and changed through the passage of light be that of day, season or year is what fascinates me. A direct connection with the landscape and the time spent there is what I use to make the work in the studio. Living in an urban environment the experience of landscape can become a remote possibility. In my work I wish to celebrate the extraordinary drama of that experience.
